Frying pan for life, fits bucket and ice tongs

I use this pan to make toffees for the holidays. It's big, keeps heat even, and always looks beautiful! It will discolour over time and use, but that's what makes it unique!

Pros
  • Sale
Cons
  • Reliability

Very impressive pan!

Wow this is a birthday present for a friend who makes jelly and he loves it! It's thick, heavy and beautiful. It will definitely become a family heirloom. Much better than I expected - bigger, heavier and thicker than I thought it would be.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Useless features

Excellent copper case! in ice buckets

Bought to make chicharrón as in the video and also carnitas for Christmas. It worked great! Since then there has been every excuse to cook with him on the street. I have fried chicken several times, made delicious potato chips myself and look forward to continuing to cook.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled

It's huge! - Bucket and ice tongs

Now I understand why copper is recommended for making jellies and jams. I was a little suspicious of the size of the pan - my other 10 quart pans have straight sides, this one expands outward (apparently) until the rim is a whopping 16 inches wide. Having made a batch of jam I am absolutely satisfied with its size. The best jam!

Pros
  • even the old ones understand
Cons
  • No paint needed

Amazing quality, well made

10 sqm The copper jam pan is very beautiful and well made. I thought the handles would lack material but they are just as good as the sink. It's solid, has weight and is thicker than I expected - quite durable. Although it's listed at 4.5 pounds, the one I just received weighs over 4.78 pounds. Look at his photo on my newly calibrated scale. Although I find these pans overpriced - compared to others this is one of the most affordable. A beautiful piece.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • No instructions

The metal seemed too thin to boil.

To be honest I haven't really used this item. I opened the packaging to find the metal was quite thin, thinner than my copper screen, and I was concerned that any exposure to heat would ignite the jam, so I immediately packed up the pot and sent it back. It weighs about half the weight of an equivalent Mauviel pan, which is perhaps to be expected for a cheap item. I will buy the Mauviel version as I intend to keep it for life and now don't want to go cheap and end up spending my money twice…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • poorly thought out

what pan is in Ice Buckets

Oh my god what a wonderful pan. It arrived and I washed it and then made three batches of my grandfather's tomato jam and it was to die for, non-sticky non-scalding. The OMG came up to temperature quickly and the jam set perfectly. I've been making jams and preserves my whole life, my mom made preserves and my grandparents made preserves so I was there to help and develop my own flavors of jam, jelly and cottage cheese. This pan is a game changer and worth every penny. If you compare this to…
