Arrived today. The first thing I noticed upon unpacking was that they smelled awful. Like a strong chemical smell. I installed them in cubic positions and then folded them into the port of my car for airing. After 4 hours the smell stayed. I'll give them some fresh air, but I really don't like the smell. However, they appear to be durable and have a nice color. I actually ordered 2 packs for my laundry.

I can put some pretty heavy stuff in if I support the bottom with one hand while taking it out and putting it back on the shelf. They're not big enough for large, bulky items, but if you mind the size and don't expect them to hold oversized items, you can fit plenty of small items like power cords and a surge protector in them. They seem to be quite durable if not abused and look like they are worth more than their asking price.

I ignored the previous review of these smelly products but boy does these REEKs. They smell like cheap 1980's stuff someone bought in a store for under $1. The handles are poorly attached and sometimes fold in half. The color is not so uniform, some are almost brown and some are grey. The "shabby" look of the fabric is not appealing at all and doesn't look like the picture. Others who posted photos got much more attractive products than me!

It was a great price for what you get and feels like good solid quality. When I took them out of the packaging I didn't smell a strong bad smell, in fact I didn't smell anything. It wasn't until I entered the room the next morning that the smell was everywhere. I thought my baby spilled milk on the carpet. I even washed the carpet with shampoo. As I was about to pack things into boxes, I realized that the smell was coming from there. I sprayed them with fabric softener and left them in the sun…

Good quality cubes but like most other reviews they have a bad smell. I soaked them in Fabrice and let them air out for a couple of hours and it seemed to work. I brought them in and put them in boxes and they were fine for a few days and the smell returned. I decided to just live with it and they look great, they don't smell unless your face is right over the box when you pull it out, if it's small or where you want to keep it, I use it for Dog toys, notebooks and string the smell doesn't…
