SonicWall TZ350 TotalSecure Advanced Edition - WirelessAC (1-Year Subscription) Review

The TZ350 is junk and the SonicWall support is almost useless. Very high latency and slow loading of webpages. I pulled out this POS and put my old router back in just 2 days later. After this experience, I will never buy or recommend a SonicWall again.

Ideal for a small office or home, but better suited for small office jobs. Bought this for two small furniture companies that are in the same building and segmented everything by VLAN. Runs great and quiet, and Sonicwall's customer support is absolutely top notch.

If you were previously used to SonicOS, you need to make some adjustments and find out where they are now. In terms of functionality, however, it does the same. I'm not a fan of all the extras, so I'm looking for basic firewall functionality. I would have preferred Sonicwall for a lower price without unnecessary services (like intrusion prevention, antivirus gateway, etc.).

This is an upgrade from lower-end Sonicwall devices. We upgraded to a device with a faster processor so we can use the full range of verification and protection layers at 100Mbps or higher. Sonicwall is the most trusted brand for cable-level network protection. It is necessary nowadays due to hackers, viruses, malware and random programs. There's never too much protection. Better to be safe than sorry. Great product and support.

TZ350 replaces TZ215. The process was easy as the TZ350 received the configuration backup file from the TZ215. There were still issues with the MySonicwall service not loading the latest firmware initially. Activating licenses was a problem because the procedure in the TZ350 admin didn't work.
