I had to return it: TVs and Videos

My first impression was excellent - small and easy to connect. That's why I wrote a positive review. When I was playing a DVD it would start to drop out for a few seconds every few minutes (no picture, no sound). To make sure it wasn't a bad DVD I tried it on another player and it worked fine. So I sent it back to SONY for a replacement which arrived quickly. Unfortunately he has exactly the same problem. What a disappointment

This Blu-ray player is so lame! If we're watching something on Netflix, then want to go out and watch something on Revain Prime, we have to unplug it and plug it back in because it doesn't clean up its bandwidth well enough. Simply turning it off isn't enough either, as it's sleeping rather than shutting down, so throughput is still not clear. My wife and I hate this business. TO HATE. And I never use that word.

It's so slow. Like molasses is slow. I watch the paint slowly dry. An old grandmother drives at 20 km/h on a slow freeway. It's like he knows he's also moving slowly and is just taunting you.
