Good price! Period!

Sorry for the late reply, but that's a different matter entirely. I can't believe how small this camera is. Wonderful! The size of a soda can. I'm not a very techy person, but even I didn't have much trouble setting up this camera for use. I'm not a professional photographer, but I'm neither blind nor deaf. While I liked the Samsung feel better, the user interface, the fact that it's a Samsung (like my phone and TV) there was no comparison when I uploaded clips of the same scene captured with both cameras to my computer downloaded. The Sony picture is brighter and the colors are deeper, but Sony had three big advantages: 1) Steady Shot…

The autofocus noise is too audible in quiet videos.

This was my first camcorder and I'm returning it because I was shocked to discover that the autofocus mechanism ensures that the audible sound is picked up by the camcorder's built-in microphone. From what I later read online. , Internal noise of the auto focus and/or zoom mechanism can be a common problem with camcorders. However, introducing unwanted noise into videos is a big problem for my shooting needs (hence only 2 stars, specific to my situation). Noise is always present unless you zoom
