06/04/05 - Addendum This model (SX25) does not have an LCD backlight so you cannot see the display in the dark or in dim light (the ST25 had a good green). The noise is much higher on this model. So if you're not very stable, use an external microphone so the noise doesn't overwhelm your recording (don't try to record out of your pocket or in a velvet carrying case).
