I wanted something that was easy to read at night as I'm quite short sighted. This works for me. The radio reception is average and the sound is okay considering the size and price of the device. Generally easy to use.

This is my second clock radio from Sony, the first one I received is still in use after many years. This new one is good, I like having 10 fm 5 presets in the morning, the TV range is great, plus I can hear the 11am news without turning on the TV. The battery backup feature deserves 5 stars.

I needed a new radio for my shed and this fits perfectly: it's small, it has preset buttons to make changing channels easier, it has AM/FM, TV and weather all the functions that I was glad to find in a device. The accuracy is more than good for this application. The only improvement would be a little more volume, but that's fine for a closed room.

Just received this clock radio. I like the look and the modern style. Setting the time, alarm clock and station presets was very easy. Channel reception was excellent and the digital tuner made it easy to find a channel. The sound is very good for a small mono radio. This radio has pretty good reception. I didn't particularly orient the power cord, but it works fine in our upstairs bedroom. FM, TV and weather bands are all good. Of course we are close to the airport, where the weather station is also located. This can be a factor. My previous radio had a weekday setting. This provided an automatic shutdown for the weekend. This clock radio has many good features like 5 radio buttons, 3-position brightness control and small size that makes it easy to fit in my bedside table. The reception is good in my area. This allows me to set the clock instead of having to set it automatically from the remote transmitter like other clock radios do. We have had wall clocks set up this way for about 2 years and are often changed an hour or two early or late. I wouldn't recommend setting your watch this way if you rely on it to…
