Doesn't work properly

Buying second-hand is a risk. The aesthetic appearance of this article was very good. The brightness of digital time, read at the highest level, is so-so. The radio appears to be working properly. The CD player (which is one of the main reasons for this particular purchase) is lame at best. Very sensitive to touch - the slightest movement confuses him. Randomly distorted playback of some tracks, even on a brand new CD. The buzzer alarm is a low, high-pitched squeak. Given the problems, I think…

Damaged two CDs in Home Audio

I liked everything about it, but. when i pressed the bottom to send the cd, nothing happened at first, then i heard a crunching noise! The area they traversed has not been heard from since. I wasn't quite sure what happened so I tried another CD, same problem. I waited until the last day to return and was too ill that day to consult the company. So returned. I called Sony beforehand and they had no idea. I wanted to try again but I paid $32 and now it's around $348! mine was new They used to be

UNHAPPY PURCHASE for clock radio

was purchased new and significantly more expensive than the new price. I had one of those clock radios and they last 4-5 years. HOWEVER, THIS NEW YEAR WAS ON FOR ANOTHER YEAR. THIS NO LONGER WORKS AND I KNOW THAT SONY NO LONGER MAKES THIS PRODUCT; SO I PAYED TOO MUCH FOR IT BECAUSE IT WAS MY FAVORITE. BUT I REALLY BELIEVE THAT THE SELLER KNEW THAT THE PRODUCT WAS OUT OF PRODUCE, BIDD FULL PRICE FOR IT, BUT ALSO KNEW THAT IT COULD BE FROM A DEFECTIVE BATCH EVEN THOUGH IT WAS NEW. I AM EXTREMELY…

If you need a radio, don't buy it. CD and watch are fine.

Sony ICF-CD815 Stereo CD Radio with AM/FM Dual Alarm (Discontinued) This product has been discontinued for a specific reason. The radio reception is terrible. I can't get any of the stations I like on AM or FM. Confused with the setting as there was no manual. In the end I found instructions on the internet. The CD player is fine. I wasn't expecting great sound so it met my expectations. The clock is fine too. I will have limited use of this product as I will not be using the radio. I will use…

Exactly what I was looking for.

I've had lifelong insomnia that eventually led me to a sleep doctor who explained to me that I have a circadian rhythm disorder: my nights and days are reversed when I'm most awake and most sleepy. She says it just depends on when you get out of bed, so I'm gradually increasing my wake time earlier and earlier. But I'm so terribly sleepy that I can sleep until the alarm stops, hit the snooze button until the alarm stops, turn off the (both double) alarms, or just lie in bed half asleep for an…

Quiet CD start but no backup battery

The device spins a CD very quietly and you can wake up to what's on the CD instead of a buzzer or radio. You can choose the track on the CD you want to wake up to. There are three levels of brightness adjustable, the lowest emits very little light so I can't read it in a shady room during the day. It's all very nice. I found the controls a bit difficult to understand, but I figured it out eventually. The block is not small; You can get a good idea of its 3D size by looking at the circular area…

This could be the perfect alarm clock for you

This could be the perfect alarm clock for you depending on what you are looking for. As others have noted, it doesn't have a battery backup; If I depended on getting to work on time, I'd probably sound a loud, obnoxious second alarm (with battery backup) ten minutes late in case the cute, boring Birdsong CD I'm currently using doesn't work. Wake me up. But I would still buy this watch. A gentle awakening has greatly improved my quality of life and made me a more comfortable person. The volume…

Good quality product but not perfect.

If you need to be able to play CDs to wake up or go to bed, this is the best product. This gives alarm clocks a whole new dimension; It reads CD-Rs and CD-RWs, so you can burn your own CDs with your favorite music or ambient sounds to fall asleep and/or wake up to: you can also choose the CD title it starts with. I LOVE this feature. You can also activate the radio or the buzzer. Technically it is a bit old, but if it were more modern it would not have the high build quality of this machine. I…
