Made a secret door in my basement with this. I am so amazed at how smooth and secure these hinges are. The door I built is solid and heavy. I would say it weighs around 100 pounds and I've only used 2 of them. I opened and closed the door at least half a dozen times a day and it didn't sag or do anything weird. They really are built for heavy duty applications. I wasn't expecting that weight at all. Once installed they look great. But the key is probably an experienced installer. To be honest you will have to modify the door jamb for heavier doors (I used four on a 1.85" fireproof door to the garage) if you go flush with no trim.
