I really liked this stuff. It was good value for money. I have a Ford Fusion and road noise can be loud when running on electricity. I have used these mats for the doors, floor and trunk so far. I can hear the difference and I have an extra product. Very easy to cut with scissors, glue and stick anywhere

I have used this 50 mil butyl for noise reduction in my office filing cabinet and drawers. Wipe down the painted interior surfaces of the IPA, apply this film covering over 60% of the exposed areas and relocate the butyl so there are no harmonics on the metal parts. Now tin file carbs sound amazing. I like solid sound.

I applied this product to the plastic door panels on my 2000 Ford Explorer. I didn't want to attach it to the doors themselves as it would cover up the studs and many tool holes making it difficult to service anything inside the door. It makes more sense to me to attach it this way as the film faces outwards and blocks incoming heat from outside the door. This material is very sticky and will stick to anything! Love it! Just right for my doors and roof of my 99.5 f350 with such a 7.3 liter load! I had to do something because my wife stopped driving it because it was loaded! So I ordered some of this and it worked great! And oh yeah my wife has no idea I did it lmao! Shhh!

Before installing a full sound system I used a whole box on my Mustang. Contributed to clarity. Also helped reduce the rumble of my louder exhaust. I ordered a second box and am using it on my Chevy truck. Easy to cut and apply. Pretty indulgent work until you put it on then it's there forever

Product adheres well and deadens noise fairly well but you will smell it if you use it in the cabin. It smells like bitumen roof. I read a review that it doesn't smell, I did the roof of my truck behind the ceiling panel, and even without warm weather it definitely smells. I'm a little concerned that it can be overwhelming when it gets hot outside. It probably won't come off, so I'll live with it. I just thought others should know.

My son and I have a Jeep Wrangler (2014). We bought Mopar headliners to get through the Arizona heat. Heat penetrates heavily through a standard hard top.
