Great little speaker hampered by some bluetooth issues

Bought this speaker for discreet listening at home and to take outside on my next hike. I'm by no means a music lover, my only other Bluetooth speaker is the Bose Soundlink Mini II, which isn't a fair comparison - the Bose has a lot deeper bass and gets a lot louder, but it's also a lot bigger. In general I am satisfied with the majority. product aspects. Bass is decent for its size and gets pretty loud for indoor use. Haven't seen it outdoors yet, but given its indoor performance, I think it…

Pros
  • Portable bluetooth speakers

Soundcore Customizable Graphic Equalizer Game Changer

Small enough to fit in a cup holder, the Mini, Mini 2 and Mini 3 can play full-bodied, rich music with surprisingly good bass. They're not the best choice for an outdoor party, but for personal listening they're a good choice, especially the Mini 3. In this review I'll highlight two features of the Mini 3: - True 360° sound coverage. - "Breakthrough" customizable 360° 9-band graphic EQ compared to bi-directional barrel speakers, which are often claimed to have 360° sound coverage, but many…

Sounds great but key feature is missing

I've had my eye on the Anker Soundcore Mini for a long time, but I already had a similar blue tooth speaker I bought off eBay about $10 ago that still worked. When mine finally died I came back to find that the Soundcore Mini had gone through two more iterations and is now on the Mini 3. And the sound quality reviews, especially the base, were all great, so I pulled the trigger. I received the device I immediately connected it to my phone and was amazed by the quality. But when I removed the…

Great little speaker with some bluetooth issues

I bought this speaker to listen inconspicuously at home and to take with me on the road on my next trip. I haven't seen it out in the open yet but given its indoor…

Pros
  • PartyCast Technology: Connect over 100 Mini 3s (or any Soundcore PartyCast speaker) for a next dimension party.
Cons
  • Poor instructions

As far as I can see - Original Soundcore Mini is 5 watts - (uses micro USB charger I think but double check) - $20. also 6W but offers more audio capabilities and uses a Type-C charger - $39. I just received the Mini 2 a day ago and am very impressed with the size. It actually sounds better (not THAT loud, but better) than my original Oontz angle. The bass/low sound reproduction is incredible for such a small device. The only downside I see so far is at full volume, as it appears the volume…

Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
