The best I ever used, recommend it to everybody.

I just needed a dibox. But since mixers are cheaper now (lol), of course I took the console, which has almost everything you need for creativity, so to speak. There are many possibilities. For example, you can connect a microphone, guitar, synthesizer and record all this through the XLR outputs. Or you can just output the sound to monitors (or headphones) and play at home / on a turnip. Monitoring itself is available. Equalizer. It is also a sound card, you can play and chat on the stream…

Pros
  • Cheap Comfortable 5 input channels XLR outputs Sound card features
Cons
  • Phantom power on microphone won't turn off Large ASIO latency No USB cable included No on/off button

Do not buy if you want to use the USB function

I'll be brief. You can get the USB working with a plethora of jerky workarounds, but why would you want that? You shouldn't and shouldn't buy this if you want to use this feature.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Other interesting options are available.

A pain to work with

Getting this thing to work was an absolute pain. Soundcraft doesn't appear to have updated its driver signature, so Windows computers just won't want to run it. You must permanently disable driver enforcement to use this board. It works great when finished, but I would definitely choose a different brand if I knew how much hassle it would be.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Very expensive

Everything works fine except the way the USB audio input works. I tried connecting it to my MIDI keyboard via VST on my laptop. After about 2 seconds of silence over USB the board went to sleep and then the first few notes I played wouldn't play until it woke up again. out, but instead I just used the 1/4" input.

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Will write later

Great for video conferencing, with auxiliary input

I use this for video conferencing in piano lessons. The USB connection works flawlessly with the Chromebook and offers bi-directional audio to/from the overall mix. The pre-fader monitor bus allows me to efficiently mix my headphones separately from the mix being sent to the video conference. I set up the main mix so that the keyboard and mic go to the computer's input, and I see the monitor mix so that the computer's output (audio from the other video conference participant) and keyboard go to

Quality DA, but there is a delay. Problem

The preamps here are fantastic. They are very clean. I've used very low output mics to see how hard I can hit them and they do their job well. However, reproduction can be difficult. It has a lot of latency, so you hit the play button and program processing is often delayed. However, if you monitor something without editing, yes you will hear it clearly. Again good DA, AD conversion. It's especially good when you're tuning tracks and need a clean recording. However, the sampling rate does not…

  • Easy Install

You laugh? Best in the Computers & Accessories category

I bought this blender and it's a very nice little package that has all the features I was looking for. It is small and portable, has good sound quality, and can act as a USB interface. but here is the problem. I don't know about a Mac user, but in order for the USB interface to do more than just get sound from your computer and actually act as an interface, you need to download the Soundcraft driver. It doesn't matter until you realize that Soundcraft drivers cause a lot of digitally signed…

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • There are nuances

Ideal Keyboard Mixer

After extensive research I decided on SoundCraft Notebook to use with my keyboard. This mixer is (almost) unique among small, inexpensive mixers in that it features a true monitor bus, similar to that found in larger, more expensive mixers. The monitor bus mix is independent from the main mix and has separate level controls for each input. I also found out that the monitor bus is a "covert" stereo bus and can create a stereo signal by connecting a simple 1/4" stereo plug to a 2x 1/4" mono line…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
