Updated: Issue with built-in mic and controls

Update 9/13/2019: No idea what it is, but the second pair and again the left earbud failed again (the side with the built-in mic). The mic and remote still work, but in the last week the left earbud has gotten so bad I can't hear anything. Great headphones so far. Updated May 15, 2019: The company was quick to respond to my comments and replaced the headphones as they were still under warranty. I haven't had any problems in the couple of days I've been using them. Original: Have owned and used…

Good enough for in-ear headphones

I've used Sony MDRXB50AP before so I'll compare them to them. two ridges, I don't know how to describe them, sorry. They sound a lot weaker in bass than Sony's, but overall sound quality is good. I would say they have a flatter and more even frequency spectrum compared to the Sony, however I am missing some bass. I would say they are more comfortable. Sony sometimes rubbed the ear around them a bit, but over time I got used to it. On some issues I would say that the microphone is not very good.

An acceptable choice for a second pair of Sound Magic.

Good news: My last pair of E10Cs lasted at least 4 years with daily use (calling, listening to music). Less than good news: I HATE the stuff E11C cables are made out of. Before buying I read a review on the exchanges claiming that the E11C cables were less "sticky" which led me to buy. The same reviewer mentioned improved sound quality. My E11C knots like crazy and literally sticks to anything even remotely touched, making me swear profusely a lot more than usual. I can't say my music sounds…

Great headphones, goes well with headphones

Okay, I'll admit I'm definitely not a music lover. I'm someone who used $5-10 headphones you find at grocery and liquor stores or iPhone headphones for months until I got them and had no idea what I was missing. . It was like going straight from VHS to Blu-ray. The sound quality is excellent; no treble distortion and more bass than I thought headphones could offer. Listening to music I didn't even know existed. - Controls that actually work fully on Android! Let me get this straight because I…

The second set is the same excellent E11C

I bought the first E11C in March 2019. I recently lost them and ordered the same E11C version in the same color. The second set has arrived and I'm just as impressed as last year. There was no doubt in sticking with Soundmagic. After carefully reading reviews on everything from sound quality to comfort and style, I settled on Soundmagic. I usually bought cheaper, but quite adequate headphones. I'm a man, I'm 71 years old. And while I'm not an audiophile, I play guitar and bass. I started my…
