Description of 💻 Refit Desktop Computer Case Motherboard Power Supply Reset HDD Button Switch - SoundOriginal (63inch 160cm)

Computer power button: Making Power Computer much easier. Located computer in a hard to reach area , this is a convenient switch on the desk and hitting it rather than bend down to turn the computer on. Motherboard power switch: There Are Two Buttons on the Switch. One is power button in the center and the other is a reset button. There Is a Metal Sleeve over the cable that sits nicely in the card-slot cover to prevent the cable from being accidentally pulled or disconnected from the main board. HDD LED lights in the switch. They're solid blue when it's on, and flicker pieces of red when your computer is loading or doing something memory intensive. The amount of red even seems to correspond with how much strain your computer is under, so it's easy to tell if your computer is off or just sleeping when you return. Sometimes it's the small parts that can make a big difference. Replace your burnt out LEDs and worn out switches with this handy ATX front bezel wire kit. The five-piece kit comes with two switches (Power, Reset) and three LEDs (Power, Hard Drive Activity, Sleep). Each switch and LED is clearly labeled to make installation easy. Make sure your computer still looks and works as great as the day you bought it with this replacement kit.

Great option if you don't have a case button

I recently moved my PC under my desk to make room for my legs, making it difficult to access the front ports every day. So I bought some USB ports for the back panels as well as this power button. For the price I can't complain here. Now I can turn on my computer, restart it and even shut it down from a real physical desktop instead of the PC desktop with the push of a button. What I don't like about it is that the cable is a pass-through, which is a slot in the bracket on the back that allows…

He's doing his job. Best in Computer Components

I bought this in part to use in building my system as my motherboard doesn't have a built in power switch. I ended up plugging it in for permanent use and I really like it. My computer is a few feet from where I sit, so having the power button nearby really helped (and I use it to sleep). The blue LED on the power ring (around the power button) isn't TOO bright, I can live with that. In any case, it is easy to find in a dark room. And you don't have to connect everything, so if the LED bothers…

I wish I had heard of this switch before!

This switch is a great way to test a new motherboard before you put it in a case - it's a lot easier than finding the two PWR pins on the motherboard and shorting them out to turn it on. It also serves as my front panel switch/LEDs once installed as the case I'm trying to use has a defective front panel switch. I recommend this as a utility for computer lovers. I'll probably buy a second one soon.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Damaged

I had to put the computer case on the table (there is a top shelf) so my kid couldn't touch all the nice buttons. But at 5ft 4in I had to reach over to turn on the computer and it got annoying. It was very easy to install. Just connect all the cables to one section of the motherboard. I have decided not to connect the disk display. so it doesn't blink. personal preference. The button is very easy to press. Like the length. I can keep it on my desk with me or on a shelf to the side. Looks cool…

Cheap plastic plugs, LEDs do not light up. Nonetheless, nice try.

The plastic on the connectors is VERY soft, making it difficult to make a solid connection. Uncomfortable single pin, but adjacent pins require an extraordinary amount of "fine surgery" to ensure they fit properly. Given the limited options they have to be fitted almost BEFORE you install the motherboard (and they will come loose anyway. I've been working with PCs for 40 years and have seen some great attachments (like a mounting block where you can attach all the cables and THEN attach a piece

Perfect if your case's power button is stuck.

Oh, your PC's power button is stuck? Okay, then let me open the front bezel and try to fix it. "After you remove the screws to defuse it and see what's inside and the wasted minutes of your life" What's up? Oh no. The entire front I/O panel is fully bonded to the chassis with high-quality adhesive. Yes it happened to me and I even tried to open it but to no avail. For situations like this, this product here, an external power switch, is sold at a reasonable price and has worked great for me…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance

  • No instructions

Well made computer components

Bought 2 different switches to convert a Dell case to an updated system. The switch on the case does not work with other motherboards. This switch was perfect. That works great. It has a long cable and a slot covered with a slit so the cable can be secured while still staying 2.5 feet (76.2 cm) from the back of the case. Since I'm using a mATX board, I secured the inside of the cable with a zip tie to keep it from touching the RAM (2666MHz gets hot). When the computer is off, the indicator on…

Pretty good with a few annoying quirks

UPDATED 09/16/2020 (Update at bottom of review) Well I'm one of those financially disadvantaged people who have an old PC case that wasn't super high quality when it was new and ended up breaking the front panel wires and my reset button not working. I thought of getting a soldering iron but these things are tiny and my eyesight isn't what it used to be and my hands aren't stable and these things were never meant to be fixed anyway so I figured it would be better look and see what was in stock…

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Clarity

This is on my desk right now, my current case ONLY has a power button and NO hard drive light, plus that stupid plastic door over the power button that makes you think you're feeling like Bruce should Wayne or anyone else with a secret branch. Yes I bought it, threw it on the table, pushed the button and saw a beautiful blue light blinking pink like a hard drive. Well, SSDs don't drive, they just process, so yeah, watch it flash pink during processing. and if Windows freezes for some reason…
