Cleans apples ONLY for kitchenware and gadgets

Bought this because they said they peeled potatoes. maybe if you have a perfectly round potato, otherwise it's useless. I can't eat apples, so I don't know about apples.

Pros
  • Positive only
Cons
  • Not fashionable

Butter knife could have been cleaned better

I couldn't peel the apples. I would continue digging into the apple skin, then snap and grate without cutting. Tried 4 different types of apples with the same result. Unfortunately I couldn't return it as it had expired. Complete waste of my money.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • For a long time

Works great sometimes.

This apple peeler does an excellent job of slicing perfectly shaped apples. However, if you buy them when you buy them by the bushel, like I did for canning, you know that not all apples are the same shape. The problem is the way the blade skins the apple, it pushes the blades instead of pulling them along the skin. If he pulled out the blade I would give him 5 stars. When pressed, the blade binds, gets stuck in soft spots or simply does not remove the skin.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Long wait

and was completely useless for me at the time

Bought for pears. It came with no instructions and only appears to peel a fairly large piece of fruit. If it adapts to smaller pieces I haven't been able to figure out how. It's pretty flimsy plastic and was completely useless to me at the time.

Pros
  • Graters, peelers and slicers
Cons
  • Weak set
