I love these pants. They fit great. My 10 year old son loves them. They fit right in the middle of the knee. My son usually wears a size 10-12 but after looking at the size chart I bought a size 8 and it fits perfectly. It is highly recommended to use the size chart before purchasing. I bought 5 pairs of these pants in different colors. Great for school or going out.

These are very good shorts but they are HUGE and I wouldn't buy them again. My son can't even fit in there with a belt. It's usually a size 8. We've ordered other tall boy shorts in a size 8 through Amazon and the others fit great. Unfortunately, these shorts are oversized and do not have an elastic waistband. If I were to order again I wouldn't know which size to choose. you are so big

My son wears the size I bought but they were WAY small. I went to an old marine and bought the "same" size and they fit. I had to understand the size first.

Came as expected. No cheap stuff. Fits as expected. All in all a good buy for the price. I recommend this product for the price.

I ordered a size 12 and the shorts fit perfectly. He's about 4 feet 2 inches and about 80 pounds. They seem to be of great quality and he said they are comfortable as well.

Excellent quality! .but there is no forgiveness if the child changes size because this is a fixed waist - this is not a belt with an internal adjustable elastic that will grow with your child. Of course, they come with a nylon strap, but an active kid won't enjoy having to constantly tighten that stiff strap to the perfect size so they don't lose their shorts! :D

These are really good shorts. I had to add some elastic at the back waist for a perfect fit but other than that they are exactly what we wanted. They look very nice and wash well.

These shorts are designed for children and do not have an adjustable waist. The drawstring waistband is just for show. It's useless.

Although these shorts are good, they are not the same as the picture. As can be seen in the photo, there are no straps on the bottom of the legs. So the picture does not show exactly what they will look like when you receive them, this is false advertising!

Good quality fabric and tailoring. They were a little smaller than I thought but my son can still wear them because I choose a size larger than usual so they fit all summer. These shorts are well made and ready to be passed on to my youngest son when the eldest grows up.

These are good lightweight shorts. They are a bit large and not adjustable but come with a belt. If you want a precise fit, order one size down. If you need room to grow, order your normal size and use the strap.

No complaints here. It's great for the price. They all come with matching straps that you can just toss in the wash so my son loves the ease.

Too bad the waist is disproportionately smaller than other shorts. In general, the size is small. It would be useful to have an adjustable waist belt. The thick spiked shield feels like a sharp piece of plastic against the skin. Good construction and real detachable strap.

My son never wore them. I bought them in white for a white party and they looked very boring against other white clothes. I sent them back.

These shorts did not fit my 10 year old son. He wears a size 14 but that size 14 was too tight. My son has buttocks and hips so the Husky from Lands' End or The Children's Place suits him better.

I love that the size is perfect for my active child. There is enough range of motion for him to move around comfortably. In addition, the kit included a belt that prevents the pants from falling off. The only downside is that the fabric creases easily. Overall a good buy.

Got this for my skinny 10 year old who normally wears a size 8. Fits as expected and the waistband helps tighten and further adjust the waist. Matches his Trail Life USA uniform. I like that this is a fairly dense ripstop fabric. Great for rough and clumsy boys!

The shorts are really good - qualitatively sewn, the material is dense, the seams are even. They are longer than some of the other shorts I've bought for my son and this length is definitely preferable! They can be worn casual or with a button down shirt and it looks amazing!

My son usually needs a size small and when not we rely on elastic waist adjusters. They didn't have those shorts, so we're hoping to get by with a belt until he grows more into them. In general, the style, material and quality are good, so we don't plan to return them. Hopefully they'll be fine in a few months when school starts.

I was looking for some non-dull cargo shorts (blue, black, tan or camo) for my 7 year old who wears a size 10. He needed something that could be adjusted at the waist and wouldn't cost a fortune either. They seemed just right - and they suited the boy! He can also wear them without a belt (although he often pulls them up). I have 4 colors (red, orange, yellow and white). Very happy.
