Spal 30100435 10" Curved Blade Puller Fan: Enhance Cooling Performance with Precision Review

Awesome fan that blows tons of air. First I made the mistake of buying a cheap fan and within a week I took it off and installed SPAL, it works great and draws a lot more air than the cheap fan I originally bought.

I bought this for additional cooling of my sand rail. He already had a 14 inch linkage. I added two of these 10 inch pullers for the back of the radiator. You did a nice job. Standing behind the railing while the fans are running is like being in a wind tunnel. They also have a low profile, which is good when space is at a premium.

The fan itself is really good, but. There were no fasteners, not even tabs that need to snap into the fan. Also, the box that the fan came in contained the proof of purchase for my order as if the fan (wrapped in plastic and gasket) had been placed in the protective sleeve box along with my order form and then the protective sleeve box would have been sealed with tape. These fans just work. They move a ton of air and are silent. I've tried various manufacturers of 10" fans, all with little success. I chose SPAL boy what's the difference. I use 3 of these on my Jeep Cherokee mated to a dirtbound off-road shroud and adjustable thermostat knob. This keeps the Jeep cool in Phoenix with stops and rides in 110+ degree weather. Driving a Jaguar XKE in the south in the summer is no easy task unless you like overheated engines. It took a bit of fiddling and lots of trips to the hardware store, but the results were great. I installed 3 of these on my 01 Cherokee with the Dirtbound Offroad Shroud. They definitely move air and are quieter than the old mechanical fan. I am using a Dakota Digital PAC-2750 fan controller. One fan turns on at 205, the next at 210, and the third fan is controlled by the factory computer and relay to turn on at 217. Fan 3 hasn't turned on yet because the first two keep my 4.0 cool. .
