Nice item but

I like the design of this hole punch but it's a bit heavy and you have to mark or use a marker to set the paper size on the silver slide bar or you always get lost when you leave, to set the paper size if you don't know what the numbers mean. It can also be safer when adjusting the slider. The slider slides over a bumpy track and makes a click, click, click when you pull it, but there's no locking mechanism so it could be easy to move the slider if it disengages under the right circumstances…

Pros
  • Material: Steel
Cons
  • Little things

It needs some work to make it work properly.

Don't punch anything important until you've made no more mistakes with this punch. Here are the issues I encountered: First, when I took it out of the box, the adjustable punches were slightly offset for a standard 3-hole punch. I had to take a screwdriver, loosen them and realign them. Second, the silver piercings are BUTTER and left big fat rings around all of my holes after the first hundred hits or so. I've taken a bunch of scraps and a lot of beatings and now I don't see any oil rings or…

Pros
  • Number of punch heads: 3 - adjustable
Cons
  • So far so good

This is theft!

All I want from a 3-hole punch is: 1) punch 3 holes at once on multiple sides, 2) do my own job , without snagging, 3) don't punch holes so close to the edge that they soon break through the paper, and not so deep into the paper that it's difficult to turn the pages of the notebook, and 4) last long enough, to make this hit the last one i have to buy . This isn't such a big list; however, judging by the bumps I've encountered before, including the $40-$50 bumps used in most offices I've worked…
