I bought this for my daughter 8-year-old science project, as environment friendly energy resource, She was able to assemble with the help of her brother 12 years old, it worked for Solar part easily and challenging for different shapes. However, she felt very happy after watching it moving on its own in Sun light. Manual was easy but could be more elaborative for 8 year old to put it together themselves.

Got this for my 9 year old, who is very interested in mechanical, assembly, robotic type items. He could assemble it on his own and loves every minute of it. For the price it’s a great product! Give it a try with your young mechanic or engineer!
