💪 Enhanced Performance Pro Micro - 5V/16MHz Review

I purchased this direct from the Sparkfun website. He did not live to see the end of the project; The micro USB connector is broken during normal use. I couldn't restore it with a good connection. I overpaid (same price as here) and it didn't even come with headers.

This board does not work on my Windows 7 Ultimate Edition. I tried installing the manufacturer's driver and even forcing it onto the board, but that just crashed my computer.

I could not get my Windows 10 laptop to recognize this processor. I followed Sparkfun's instructions to download and install the disc. Windows does not accept disks. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who isn't an expert on USB/drivers/etc. is.

Everything worked very well the first time I used it. I got error messages when trying to upload new code. I'm trying to reset it by unplugging it and plugging it back in and now my computer doesn't recognize it. After a thorough check of the SparkFun website, it turned out that the bootloader was overwritten. WHY IS THAT IMPORTANT?! How can a simple code upload overwrite something that shouldn't be touched at all? Apparently, this can be fixed by purchasing additional gear, which is available…
