You will not receive a "pair" speaker cable. You will receive a cable with a "set" of connectors to adapt it to use banana or spade connectors. This is a very high quality cable and everything about it is fantastic except for the description which says you are getting a pair of cables to connect two speakers. If you are looking for a quality cable this could be a good choice. Just make sure you order two.

Speaker cables are usually sold in pairs and I tend to think of the possibility of connecting two speakers as a master pair. Here "pair" is the positive and negative wire for a speaker. This changes the price from high to more than I'm willing to pay. The construction is well done and the single speaker sounded great. I really liked the detachable plugs, although I do wonder how they will affect the sound (avoiding the voodoo magic of expensive speaker cables). YMMV, but I don't think the price
