Too heavy.

I like the safety feature that protects the speaker. But the speakers are too heavy - I had to use a drill to tighten a screw to keep the speaker from sagging. As a result, I tore off some of the screw heads and can't tighten the screw enough to hold the speaker.

Ideal for walls, maybe not ceilings

The workmanship is good, the speaker lasts. I put them in my blanket. Everything is solid and well built. The only problem I have is maintaining the 45 degree tilt angle. After a few days, the washers holding the corner could no longer support the speaker's weight, and now the speaker is leaning almost completely parallel to the floor. I will create a mount, to keep it at the right angle. Again, this only applies to viewing with the ceiling method, not with the wall.

Cannot support the weight of the speaker and maintains a 45 degree tilt

Do not purchase this item if you do not want the speaker to point straight down. The product is advertised as tilting and rotating by tightening the side screw, after which it is fixed and cannot be adjusted. That wasn't the case with us. After setting the angle and tightening it as much as possible, we let go and the weight of the speaker pulls it straight down.
