Great Adapter for Industrial and Scientific Applications

This fitting adapter for pneumatics and plumbing is an excellent choice for industrial and scientific applications. Using this product, our team found that it is easy to install, and it provides secure connections without leaks. The barbed design works perfectly with a wide range of pipes and hoses, and the schedule option allows for greater flexibility in usage. However, the only downside is that it may not be suitable for all types of fittings. Overall, we highly recommend this adapter for…

Pros
  • Strong and durable construction for long-lasting performance.
Cons
  • May require additional tools or expertise for installation and maintenance.

Barb too short to fit fitting

I found the barbed end too short to securely connect thick tubing. Also, my 3" pipe didn't fit - I think this is another case where it's not clear if it was a 3" ID or a 3" OD. Would come back if I could. Although the quality is excellent.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons

Sized not to PVC fitting standard

PVC fitting too tight. A normal male fitting will not fit without loops. Part of the tip was also larger than usual. I made this fitting by grinding it (a glued male fitting) and heating the tubing to fit the barb. I'm using this for a drain line (no pressure). I would absolutely not recommend this fitting for pressure lines.

Pros
  • Hydraulic, Pneumatic & Plumbing
Cons
  • Wrinkled
