Really cleans the wiring on the engine.

Not suitable for Corvette 86. I had to change the right side to get past the EGR pipe. It's okay as I have the necessary tools. Great product to protect your cables from exhaust manifolds.

Screws too short for ignition parts

Brackets are pretty good but screws aren't long enough. I had to buy 1/4" bolts and then machine them to 6mm to get them through the valve covers on the new GM box engine. I'm surprised the company hasn't addressed this issue as almost every review mentions that the screws don't work.

Mounting holes are off center

You may need to drill mounting holes for the top of the valve cover, mine were just wide and not big enough for the bolts to align with the threads. Once this is done it fits great and looks nice and clean. I would install your cables and temporarily attach the brackets, then attach to the motor, everything seems to run pretty smoothly, and then when your cables are where you want you can tighten the cable brackets through the slots in the brackets. Then cut and crimp the wires to fit.

Valve cover bolts too short

It seems every review says the bolts that go through the valve covers are too short. That was true for me. The screws that come with the kit are 3.5" but should be 3.75". The problem is that only specialty screw distributors have 1/4" to 3.75" screws. So I bought 4" bolts and used a 1/2" washer between the bracket and the valve cover instead of the 1/4" washers that came with the kit. I think it actually made it easier to thread the nuts and bolts for the wire holders. I also had to drill out…

Looks great, installation is a little tedious

The kit arrived quickly and complete, looks great under the hood. Having never used a product like this before, I have been working on the optimal installation. It took several attempts to insert each wire the correct length into the guides and push them down. You try to adjust the length of the four wires by using an Allen wrench and box wrench at the same time and hovering over the valve cover. You need three hands. Once they have the nuts and the bottom of the guide wires attached to the…
