Waste of money for my opinion

Based on my experience, this surveillance camera was a total waste of money .The video quality was grainy and the night vision did not work properly. The installation process was also difficult and the instructions were not clear. The only positive aspect was that it was WEATHERPROOF. However, this did not make up for the poor performance and lack of usability. Save your money and look for a better option..

Pros
  • Weatherproof
Cons
  • Poor video quality, difficult installation process, instructions not clear.

Not Impressed: Bad Purchase for Security

As a hesitant buyer, I tried out this electronics product for my security system. As a result of my tests, I determined that the footage quality was terrible and blurry, making it hard to identify the people in the videos. While the weatherproof feature is a plus, it's not worth sacrificing clear footage. Overall I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone looking for reliable surveillance equipment. .

Pros
  • Durable and weatherproof design for reliable outdoor use.
Cons
  • May experience color distortion in bright or low-light situations.

Speco is a great mid-range camera

Speco cameras are ideal for homeowners who don't want to buy a cheap camera from a big store without breaking the bank for a high-end camera (like Panasonic). This particular model is good for a 45 degree spread for about 50 feet. IR vision at night is better than the old Speco cameras, but it "doesn't turn night into day" (my words, not Speco). For nighttime viewing, it helps to turn on nearby landscape lights. Although this was a recent purchase, I've been using similar specos for over 5…
