Installation problems with the e90 335i n55

There were installation problems with the e90 335i n55 engine. The bottom of the radiator is proud. This causes the bottom hose plug to interfere with the intercooler. The intercooler is now not properly installed. Also, the instructions for the drain plug say nothing after 2008. Spend the extra money and buy an aluminum heatsink.

Pros
  • Installation type: Vehicle-specific
Cons

Comes with two plugs, be careful!

Great for my 2009 BMW 335i (N54/E92). This radiator comes with two bottom plugs on the driver's side. The manual shift fork is installed. The automatic transmission connector is sealed in the box. You will drain all the coolant when the transmission cooler thermostat opens if you put a manual plug in the car. Make sure you (or your mechanic) are inserting the correct connector and TELL THE MECHANIC it only takes 1/8 turn to insert. & extinguish. The plastic tabs break easily if you're not veryโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High density multi-fin fins for maximum cooling efficiency
Cons
  • Some complications
