1982 Mercury Capri - Filler

Looks slightly different than the factory bushing. It fits the gas tank very snugly, and the filler tube fits in very snugly too.

Good quality part to fit the fuel system

I installed it on my SN95. I was able to bend the sheet metal in the trunk floor to remove and reinsert the filler tube. Otherwise you will have to drop the tank.

Best value fuel tanks and accessories

Fuel no longer leaks from the filler neck. Not a bad attitude. I had to loosen and move the tank to get the pipe out. It's easier when your tank is almost empty.

filler cap! Tank tilt not required

I installed this on my '89 Mustang GT. It wasn't easy, but you can do it without dropping the gas tank, you just need to remove the gas cap and the plastic cap inside, then you can lift the filler neck high enough to pull it out. It seems like a quality part, plus it stopped the leak so I'm happy!

Do not drop the tank without replacing this bushing.

Looks like a quality part. Fits perfectly, no problems. Too bad I didn't change it when I took out the fuel tank to replace the damaged fuel hose. The tank was leaking like crazy when I was done with the hose, ripping the inside of the bushing that I couldn't see. The tank comes out again for this part only. live and learn
