🔧 Improved Performance: Spectra Premium GM01 Distributor for GM Vehicles Review

Looks good, only problem is the distributor cap was broken, looks like it had a crack when I unscrewed the bolt, part of the cap fell off, I would like a different cap if possible. This was done when the cap was installed at the factory, not when it was shipped. Thank you Bill

This distributor is a good replacement quality. I installed it and it worked fine. The lid was a little flimsy but worked. My only complaint was that it needed extra protection upon delivery. It was shipped in manufacturer's retail packaging only. Arrived beaten. Part worked satisfactorily. **Update, one year in use and my mechanic told me it would not be properly aligned to accommodate cam crank lag. Engine light came on error. This distributor must be replaced. didn't take it.

The lid is cracked. It's flimsy and cheap, I had to use an old cap. I probably should have bought the cheaper Bravex Distributor and saved more than $40. Live and learn I think. I will no longer buy a Spectra Premium product. You have to drop Premium from the name because that's not the case at all. Also, it had no alignment marks, and the casting mark molds are different from the OEM molds. The numbers 6 and 8, these markings make it easier to install the manifold and save a lot of guesswork…
