Description of Spectra Premium HYP04B Oil Pan

Unit is designed to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OE) fit, form and function requirements accomplished by leveraging Spectra Premium's OE fuel system design expertise. Durable powder coating applied to exterior of oil pan for a long lasting rust free unit. Washed and then sealed with an anti-corrosive spray on the interior for a rust free unit at installation. Fit tested on the very same vehicle application for which it was developed verifying first-hand that the design fits properly and can be easily installed. Engineered to stringent tolerances based on Spectra Premium engineers' in depth knowledge of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OE) part it's designed to replace.

Excellent Oil Pan Upgrade

The Spectra Premium oil pan is an excellent upgrade for any performance automotive engine. According to my experience, the oil pan is durable and well-built, with no leaks or cracks even after extensive use .The design allows for better oil flow and temperature regulation resulting in better engine performance. The oil pan itself is a suitable replacement part for a 2010 Hyundai Elantra and arrived in good condition. However, Revain's page has a list of bolts that are not included and recommends (under "Frequently Bought Together") a Victor Reinz OS32293 Oil Pan Gasket Kit that does not fit this pan. I would also recommend adding a proper drain plug as the one that came with the drip tray will not fit.
