Perfect fit for 2005 Toyota Tundra

OEM fits 2005 Toyota Tundra, no problem. Seems solid, let's see how they hold up to the corrosion that is a problem with factory belts.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Not sure

Poor result for fuel tanks and accessories

The straps were the correct length but the pin holes were about 1/16 inch too small. I had to "twist" it out of the pin and also drill through the strap to get it to fit. Go OEM

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Doesn't work for fuel tanks and accessories

Although the website says it exactly matches the information I entered, one of them is too short and doesn't work. My much needed truck has to wait another month while I try to find the right part. And they came with no hardware other than nuts for the plastic bottom. I have to use old rusty pins and find new frame bolts.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Concise instructions

Close but not a cigar: Replacement parts

I think most people will roll their eyes, I should have bought the OEM. The first one sent was wrong. Although the second came quickly. The end where the pin fell was not big enough. After inserting the pin the weld cracked so I flared it and then welded it back on. The nuts they added to hold the pan were fake/cheap. The original had a flange so they needed a washer.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Hard to tell

NOT PAINTED OR COATED AGAINST RUST.

One of my tank straps has rusted through and my tank is sagging. Needless to say, I needed new ones asap. I figured they could be plated or electroplated or something to keep them from rusting again. They are NOT COVERED. Bare steel. I had to coat them with Blaster anti-corrosive before gluing. I didn't have time to paint them and I had to get to work. Now we need to remove them one by one, clean POR-15 and paint. My problem is that the description does NOT say bare steel. So be prepared to buy

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs
