0.5 micron?: Kitchen and bathroom plumbing

I agree with Robert. There was no mark so I can't be sure if it's 0.5µm. From the looks of it, I would guess they are actually 5.0 microns. It looks very schematic. I will return them.

Pros
  • Replacement water filter
Cons
  • Not as good as it says

0.5 µm? or 5.0 microns? No markings to tell the difference.

Supplied in unmarked collective packaging (which is normal). I can't tell if these filters are 5.0 micron OR are they misrepresented/mislabeled on the website and are they 0.5 micron? There is a difference and it's huge!

Pros
  • Tools and household goods
Cons
  • Expensive

0.5 µm? best replacement under sink water filters

I agree with Robert. There was no mark so I can't be sure if it's 0.5µm. From the looks of it, I would guess they are actually 5.0 microns. It looks very schematic. I will return them.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Will be added later

Not 0.5 micron, but 5.0 micron

The product description says 0.5 micron, but if you look at the pictures of the different filter layers, you can see that the inner layer is 5 micron. When I installed the filter it didn't filter out the chlorine in the water, we could still smell and taste it. I also found that the flow rate was higher than the 0.5 micron filters I've installed in the past. Unfortunately I installed it in my caravan and checked too late to return the items. I went to Homedepot and bought a $30 0.5 micron…

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long delivery time
