Review on 🧼 SpectraPure MicroTec Sediment Micron Compatible by Jeff Westra

The product description says 0.5 micron, but if you look at the pictures of the different filter layers, you can see that the inner layer is 5 micron. When I installed the filter it didn't filter out the chlorine in the water, we could still smell and taste it. I also found that the flow rate was higher than the 0.5 micron filters I've installed in the past. Unfortunately I installed it in my caravan and checked too late to return the items. I went to Homedepot and bought a $30 0.5 micron filter which once installed filtered out the chlorine in the water as expected. FYI, 0.5 micron filters have a very small opening (1/8 inch) at each end of the filter where the water exits. This is a sediment filter only, NOT a filter for chlorine, lead or other unwanted elements!
