From the day it arrived I had issues like missing parts. A few weeks later they send the missing part. I haven't driven the car more than 100 miles and the air filter rubber has cracked where the retaining metal goes. I really don't understand why this is happening.

I installed this inlet on my 2009 G8 and what a difference. You will immediately feel and hear the difference. The best part is that it was easy to install. Great addition at a great price. I can imagine things, but I also seem to have slightly improved gas mileage. If possible, put one of these in your car. It's worth it.

Only installed a few days but so far I'm happy with the results. The most noticeable difference after installation was the sound. It really gave my car that vicious V8 sound, it didn't have a "stock exhaust" which I didn't expect such a drastic difference. It's really hard to tell if I'm actually getting more power from it, but I think so lol.

The instructions are crappy but fitting it is pretty easy. You just have to use common sense when putting everything together. There are no installation issues, it looks great under the hood. Makes a strange whistling noise that doesn't sound very good. Other than that it's fantastic and I would definitely recommend it. You won't find a better deal for the price. This was actually very easy to install and ended up fitting perfectly. The instructions aren't particularly helpful, but it's very easy to look at the picture to make sure it's in place correctly. And it actually really opened it up, once you started using it I was impressed because I wasn't expecting much in terms of improvement. I originally bought this CAI to tidy up a bit more under the hood. It just looks cleaner. But it's definitely worth the money

I am using this on a Pontiac G8 GT and it works great. All hardware is included and I was very pleased to see that all parts are of good quality. I would give 5 stars IF the included instructions were for the kit I bought but it wasn't so I had to assemble it without instructions which isn't very difficult. Better quality than expected. The metal partition is not made of thin sheet metal, it is durable and protects well from heat. The aluminum tube is well polished, although mine was a bit worn and in a noticeable spot. Can be polished but my hood stays closed so who cares right? Couplings and clamps are of good quality and look good. I used 87 octane with rotofab Superchips Tune. I can't report a performance gain without a dyno as the GT is a strong stock although it sounds good when beaten…

OH. GOD SOUND! Okay, so yes, there is a slight increase in power, maybe 5-10 hp, so not very noticeable. But the SOUND is like nothing I've ever heard! As I write this, I feel like this kit is half the price of its competitors. I installed this on a 2009 Pontiac G8 GT. The instructions have relatively good pictures for each step and pretty good written instructions. Unfortunately they are not relevant.
