Worked well

They held the screws tight. I knew the wire went through the little hole when the engine was in the truck, but it wasn't as bad as I thought.

"Solid " Manifold Bolts

I was a little hesitant to buy this simple locking device but it works! The safety wire is spring loaded and prevents the screws from loosening. I would buy a different set if I had a different hot rod!

Your set may be fine. My sentence. not so good.

I must have a bad batch. 4 of the 8 I've installed so far had an offset hex head which made it appear like it wobbled when I screwed it in. Then all the holes had to be drilled because metal burrs prevented the security cable from going in. Dissatisfied. I don't want to negotiate for a refund as the Amazon Landing is so far away.

Poor quality good for manifold bolts

So they work "great" when your manifolds are clean. You know. So you can use a 7/16 socket instead of a tool that won't even engage the latch of a ratchet or extension bar so you have to hold it at the drive end until you can get the screw in the hole, really no annoying problem. If you must use the supplied Allen wrench I tried stripping and ended up having to drill some through holes for the wire because the metal had shifted and jammed. Spend your money on quality screws. I ended up cutting…

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Has imperfections
