Case too long for Tahoe

The screws are too long for the Tahoe they are advertised for. I got lazy and added a couple of stainless steel washers to make sure the diff cover was fully tightened.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

'08 Chevrolet Silverado. Don't buy them!

Misleading. It says it's approved for my 2008 Chevy Silverado. NOT RIGHT! I tried to install and one of them came loose at 15 ft.lbs. My 8.5" rear differential cover bolts are M8-1.25mm. Attention buyers.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Expensive

Check your ad size.

Depends on your 10 hole boot lid. My 1999 Chevy Silverado 1500 4X4 uses M8X1.25X20mm bolts. These screws are 5/16-18x.750 SAE threads and will not fit. They'll turn heads with 30 ft-lbs of torque.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Piggy bank price

The screw came off cleanly and I can't get it out of the part.

Not recommended. The screw came off cleanly when tightened. The other part of the bolt is now in my rear end and won't come out. The product is not durable at all and it is no longer comfortable to use. Returned and not repurchased.

Pros
  • Very good quality
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Don't buy them for a Chevrolet!

These bolts are not for a Chevy '05 differential. Too bad I didn't check the reviews and/or wasn't careful when removing the old bolts. One of the heads is broken, now we have to drill it open and cut the hole again. Very frustrating. Not sure why they were offered with the purchase of the diff cover and gasket.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

DO NOT BUY! fits engines and engine parts

I noticed that the felt is a lot lighter than the OEM bolts but they looked much better, after about the 8th bolt they broke off in my rear axle. Now I'm missing a bolt on the diff cover, luckily the sealant I bought from the auto parts store did the job and it doesn't leak and they were all torqued to spec with a torque wrench!

  • best
Cons
  • dented

Didn't fit my 2001 Silverado

This was a recommended addition to my 2001 2WD Silverado Diff Cover so I ordered these to replace the old ones. Luckily my old ones were in good condition because the thread size on them is completely different. Revain gave me a full refund and said there was no need to send it back. Thank you Raven for that. On the other hand, they look like a good quality bolt.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Only available in black

Buyer warning! Complete garbage.

I don't usually leave bad reviews but this really is the worst product I've ever bought from Revain. I used them to replace the bolts on the differential cover. (Revain recommends) Use a 3/8 ratchet by hand (no impact or force) and the 3 bolts clicked without even getting the correct torque. 2 hours extra labor to drill and pull out of the axle housing. And now I need to track down properly hardened bolts. A three-hour job turned into a whole weekend without my truck being on the road. What a…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Avoid Costly Mistakes

These bolts are not intended for use with the 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 10 bolt rear differential. Not only did I struggle with an impact wrench the entire time to unscrew the old bolts, but I also assumed that if I bought the differential cover and cover gasket that were correct, the bolts would be correct, they weren't, they were Sae threads but I have a metric thread. I hand tightened all the bolts and then, like an idiot who didn't check first, I used one punch to finish the job until two of

Pros
  • Quality Construction
