🖌️ Revive and Rejuvenate Brushes with Speedball's 2-Ounce Brush Shaper! Review

This didn't work for my brushes. I've tried both natural and synthetic brushes. My brushes weren't that bad. Just a few spots on the outside of the brush. I followed the instructions and let it dry. As the product dried it seemed to change the shape of the brush, but as soon as I rinsed it out the brush returned to its original shape.

How could I ever live without this brush shaper?! As I paint on rough and organic materials I can't afford medium or high quality brushes as the surfaces tear the bristles apart. As you know, inferior quality brushes are easily damaged and some have to be thrown away after the first use. With this speedball brush shaper, I simply dip and shape the bristles after washing. With these cheap brushes I can use them 3-4 times longer. I can only imagine that this should work wonders on more expensive…

wasn't sure how this stuff actually "shaped" the brushes when I ordered it but now that I've used it I've got it with a weaker, stiffer one compared. a flaky, quick-drying PVA glue that gets thick and tacky when wet. The consistency allows you to mold the brush into any shape with your fingers as it becomes sticky almost instantly and then as it dries holds the brush fibers in place, "convincing" them to stay where you put them formed when you wash the brush or wipe the end with your finger…
