Great little clip on flash

So far this little flash is great. This is my first time using Flash and I had no trouble setting it up. I haven't tried it on camera, but I've used it off camera with a GODOX X1T-O TTL flash trigger and a Neewer 32 octagonal softbox and got pretty good results. As other reviewers have said, cycle time may increase slightly. And the softbox I have doesn't help as the flash is behind the diffuser and I can't see when it's done. But overall great value for money.

Pros
  • Big selection
Cons
  • Not sure

Compact and easy to use

Works very well. It's a small flash that's easy to carry along with the Micro 4/3 camera. This really makes a difference when you're shooting indoors, even in good light. I saw a review that said the zoom function got stuck at 14mm. Here's the solution. "Make sure your wide diffuser is fully inserted into the flash housing (you should feel a click when it is fully seated - this is the internal switch that tells the flash that the wide diffuser is being used). and ignore any zoom information…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Only available in black

Perfect size/performance for m43

I couldn't decide between the TT350o and TT685o for my E-M10 so I bought both. I kept both. If I had to choose just one, I would choose the TT350. On the camera I only use the TT350. The TT685 is 1 stop brighter and much bigger/heavier (too much for in-camera use, IMO). The TT350o is powerful enough for indoor use 95% of the time (and if that wasn't enough, I'd rather bump the ISO by 1 than lug around a 685). I only use the TT685 outside of a TT350 controlled camera when the scene could benefit

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Non automatic

Good compact TTL flash for Olympus/Panasonic. It pairs beautifully with my E-M5 Mark II, much better than the Metz flash I used and is powerful enough for indoor shots in a medium sized room. Triggers for Godox strobes and flashes. This gives you three groups and works well. I tested it with HSS and it works great too. This is a great option as a Godox trigger for Olympus/Panasonic until Godox releases the X1 trigger for Olympus/Panasonic.

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • Operating speed

The zoom function is broken and prone to overheating.

The zoom function is already broken and stuck at 14mm (28mm on full frame equivalent). The flash is very bright for its size but tends to overheat. It weighs about half my Metz 44 and is about half as thin. The top half rotates for lateral reflection. Cycle time depends on usage, so cycle time will change with heavy usage. Maybe just a 1 second cycle time when the cold cycle time increases to 3 seconds under heavy use. It also gets warm and the batteries hot. Lithium AAs work best, then…

Pros
  • So far so good
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Compact, lightweight, functional TTL flash for Panasonic

So far so good. I use this with Lumix FZ300 and Lumix G5. It seems to work with both cameras in TTL mode and gives well exposed results with both cameras. I had a few questions about this device before purchasing it, but I only answered one of them, so I'll answer it here for the rest: As I said, the device works in TTL mode with the FZ300. The device tilts down (-7 degrees) to help with macro or close-up photography. Finally, there is NO modeling light in this unit, which again can help with…

Great value for money, reliable

I use this flash on my Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II for a very specific purpose: macro lighting in the field (mostly) insects, reptiles, amphibians and sometimes mushrooms. I use this flash with a DIY diffuser that I attach with tape. I also travel a lot and they are durable and work great in jungle like areas with high humidity. I always carry a backup because every flash will break sooner or later, and they're cheap. They were extremely reliable (very, very rarely did they fail, but I have no…
