My water sports instructor loaned me a model of this Speedo pressure plate and I really liked it. When I bought what I thought was the same product I found it to be much worse than the original model. The handles hurt my arms. I returned it.

I never write a review unless the product is either the best or the worst. That's absolutely low. It will be much better if you do a circle on one breath in the pool or do nothing at all. My barley hands come up. I need to overlap 2 fingers.

I used one of these at a physical therapist and it was stronger and felt heavier. This one is fairly light and seems to offer less resistance in the water. The concept is good, but it would be better if it was a bit bigger and more descriptive.

This is 1 piece. ok and cannot be operated with one hand. It's too much power. Ambidextrous yes, but for someone with a large height and large hands this is not for you. A smaller person with 2 arms makes sense. Big man, big hands. It's embarrassing. Should be a bit bigger for people with big hands.

Seriously it's more durable than foam hydrotherapy equipment and judge how you hold it and at what angle you get different levels of resistance. It's good to start out simple and then modify it to work on different areas of your arms, shoulders, etc. I've found it reliable, it hasn't broken yet, and I will encourage others to try it.

I was looking for a Speedo Swim Unisex Swim Pressure Plate which appears to have been replaced by this product. It's worse compared to the cheap, flimsy feel. It is inconvenient to take either the side handles or the center bar. I hope the Speedo unisex swim training platform will be available again.

Bought to teach seniors in the swimming pool. Offers you a wide variety of exercises to do in the water. Push, pull, turn. It would be nice to have an exercise DVD. There aren't many things like this on the market - hence the higher price. I would like to see them for $15 each, I paid $60 for a pair. If it wasn't in a professional setting I would use tubes or other alternatives. I recommend them for a change.
