They were quite expensive to wear out as quickly as they did. My son started wearing them as part of his school uniform in September and by December they were completely worn out. My son is not the kind of kid who is hard on his shoes. It usually grows before it wears them down. They're just bad quality shoes. Buy something else.

My 10 year old loves his Sperrys and this pair was no different. He regularly wears them with almost everything. I ordered 7M and it fits as expected. They are ready to use immediately and hardly need any hacking. My only complaint is that he's run out of youth sizes and his next pair should be men's sized so the price doubles. Pooh!

My son goes to a school that requires uniforms and this Sperry shoe is a favorite with many of the kids. They are comfortable, offer more air circulation than other fashion shoes and look good. He can wear them all day without any discomfort, and he can wear thicker or thinner socks with them without feeling like they're too tight or that they're falling off. We will definitely buy them again when he needs new school shoes.
