My coach recommended this so I bought this to practice my turns in figure skating, it helped with lockdown and I finally got a 2 foot spin up Ice but now I'd rather use that as a spin on ice lol

My daughter was reluctant to try. But as soon as she did, she smiled and wouldn't stop. She and her brother took turns checking who could do the most spins. In just 5 minutes her balance improved. She is just learning how to spin on the ice (skating). I'm curious to see if her skating spin improves.

Works great! I saw a skater use something like this on IG and as a roller skater I thought it would be great to learn how to find your center of balance and try to build it into "muscle memory". It spins great on laminate, smooth concrete, tile and hardwood, but tile can damage it depending on the pattern/texture of the tile. I do a few spins between Zoom meetings and it's fun and easy to use anytime!

As long as it lasts, I'm a 150lb adult and always feel the plastic doesn't flex like it should. I've also found that while it's useful for practicing spin positions, the balance required is very different than ice skates (more in the midfoot area), making it difficult for me to get on the right part of my blade the next time I go skating . so I can't use it too often.

If you are working on your spins this is a fantastic office tool. Find your center of gravity and spin! I preferred this product to Edea because it doesn't damage wood floors or tiles any better, they all recommend you get linoleum which I can but so far I've used them on my wood floors and I haven't seen any damage. The only problem you will have is staying away from the spinboard, it's so cool!
