Splash 18 Ounce Plastic Tumblers Coastal Review

These mugs are an excellent bang for your buck. Used as a simple everyday mug when not using glassware. They hold up very well and wash well in the top rack of the dishwasher. Much better compared to a similar brand I bought!

I have had similar mugs but a few have cracked recently so I have decided to buy a new set. These mugs are wonderful. My husband immediately put them in the dishwasher and I was dying to try it. When I filled it with water, I realized that it already had a crack in it! So disappointed.

For some reason. I thought they were bigger than they really are. But the big problem with them are the holes. Some cups had a tiny triangular hole on the rim of the cup. It's like a drinking cup and you land on your shirt with your drink.

If you are a heavy drinker. Iced Tea Lover. Whatever you love in a great tall glass that fits large ice cubes, this glass is for you. The colors are beautiful, the glasses are my favorite. I bought two more glasses and they were nice but just didn't fit. They stack in a cupboard and hold plenty of liquid with large ice cubes. I shared my set with a friend who also loved them.

When I first got them I immediately noticed that they all had a sharp bit of plastic around the edge where the plastic popped out of the mold a bit. I hand sanded the tips of the lips with wet fine sandpaper, it took a few minutes and I was still willing to shell out $20 for some cups that needed some cleaning. Then everyone started cracking. thin vertical cracks through which liquid leaks. as far as cups go, pretty much useless.

We've had them for a few months now and I have 2 with cracks in the acrylic (can't be felt inside or outside of the cup) which will happen with almost all acrylics. I dropped a few of these (so I won't be buying a jar) and they all outlasted my tile floor. These mugs are a disaster. They were poorly packaged by the manufacturer and two of them arrived broken and unusable. They are very thin and thin. Feels like a red party cup but much more fragile. The edges are sharp so it's very inconvenient to drink from - I definitely wouldn't let a child use them considering how sharp and fragile they are. Nice colours. Inside each jar is an original set of protrusions that allow them to be stacked on top of each other without snagging. They hold a lot, which is much appreciated here in Phoenix where you want both ice and a drink in the same glass. I have no real experience with durability or strength but I rated it as average.
