Not worth the hassle.

According to my experience, this computer cable adapter failed to work with multiple devices and caused frequent disconnections. The only positive aspect of it was its affordable price. However, the struggle and frustration to get it to work made it not worth the savings. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable splitter or expander for their computers.

Davis Vantage Pro Serial Splitter

I wanted to split the DVPro2's serial connection, so I decided to try this. All you need are null cables, no straight-through cables. My goal was to be able to simultaneously run software and stream data to my WX3in1 APRS radio. Soldering the cable from the WX3in1 side, everything works!

Works as described.

device works as described. Null modems are installed on DB-9 links, allowing multiple PCs to receive/exchange data from a personal weather station. It is a cost-effective solution for sharing multiple devices on a single PC COM port or, with null modems, a serial device with multiple PCs.
