Doesn't work best with bark collars

If you want to hear your dog bark and bark and bark while wearing a stylish collar, bro, this is for you! Otherwise waste of money. Good athletic dog to write a smart ad and extort money from me. I changed the battery, made sure it was on, made sure the probes were touching the skin, used the light tool to check the work, just a waste of money. I will continue my search to find a collar from a reputable company.

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • Not as thick as other pickaxes

Works on my Doberman who takes his guard dog very seriously

This is great for my one year old boy Doby. He likes to let the world know he's on patrol if he hears or sees activity outside or near his area. He immediately reacts to the lowest correction by buttoning it up. He still keeps a close eye on things, but does so with good neighborly manners. I recommend this collar to those who have barking problems. Strong barkers can go through this and need a top level of correction, but there's a chance this will solve the problem. It's definitely worth aโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High marks for hold and durability from testers

Bought two but one doesn't work

Bought two. The one that works is the difficult one. I haven't been able to figure out how to verify this for a long time. The second doesn't work at all. Broken right out of the box. Thinking maybe the battery was dead, went to the store, bought another, came home, replaced the one that came with it and it flashed green then immediately red indicating the brand new battery was already dead. Definitely NOT with money. $6 to $10 price for higher quality. I thought I was really full of energyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • Some problems

Works if you get it

Used with a 65lb Chesapeake Bay Retriever with a very thick coat. We live next to the veterinary office. Dogs walk past our fence 10 hours a day, 6 days a week. He went from an almost constant bark to a barely audible squeak. The main thing is to understand how the collar works. Wait for the green light to turn on. Make sure the dots are snug and not blocked by fur. Do your best not to let your dog know the collar is shocking. Put the collar on when they're outside (make sure it's off when notโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Expensive

Bad inefficient circuits will drain the battery.

There should be no reason for this collar to die as fast as he does. We have a collared underground fence that runs on the same battery and lasts almost a year and doesn't need to be turned on and off every time. This bark collar gets more use (static) than our other one, but not enough to last just a few months. The device has a power button, but why do I have to turn it off/on every time? All it has is a blinking red LED, just like my underground fence. It seems to me that this is a poorlyโ€ฆ
