I read other reviews about this and bought it anyway, I use it with lemon juice as a substitute for salt. It emits a nice subtle mist of lemon juice. It feels heavy so I'm pretty sure if it falls it will fall apart like all the other ailments. I think I'll have to mold the base for this out of silicone.

Doesn't work with oil, its main purpose. I bought it for our RV for our deep fryer. Tried olive oil for the first time and it doesn't splatter. You have to open the lid to release the pressure so it can pump and spray. Almost useless. I put it aside to return when we got back from the trip and immediately forgot about it. waste of money.

I washed the bottle and tested it with water. It worked great and sprayed an even mist. Then I tried olive oil. The oil comes out in a single jet that hits the food/surface with enough force to splatter. I'm hoping it's a viscosity issue and I can reuse the spray bottle for vinegar, but I bought it for oil spray and it's not good enough to call itself olive oil spray.

After using it for a while I wasn't impressed with how it sprayed avocado oil. But to make matters worse, after a light tap with my cutting board, the bottle accidentally tipped over right where it was standing and the entire metal cap was completely ripped off at the glass neck. Oil flowed everywhere. It wasn't a hard hit. I was surprised it was so gentle. A raw egg can take more abuse than this bottle. I will not buy this again.

Let me start by saying that I have tried many oil sprays in the past. I tried pumping it up and pressing the button to spray. Yes, they work the first week or so, and then they don't work anymore.
