Very strong and won't slip off any materials I've attached them to so far. I've seen a lot of fractures in a few weeks but not this one.

I bought these to keep the bird netting around my raised garden. It works great and isn't as difficult to open as some of the others.

My sister used this to create a backdrop for my mother's retirement age. If my sister can use them effectively without help, then they must be amazing.

I use on my backdrops that I have bought as many of them work from home - at least part of the time. It gave me the opportunity to change the scene in the hangouts we live in now.

I bought these because I wanted a clip that was a certain size. But they are very difficult to open. The spring spool is too thick and about 3 wraps compared to another brand I like that uses a slightly thinner spool that is about 4 wraps. Both clamp well and I don't understand why this brand had to use such a thick spool of wire for this medium sized clamp. The only reason I didn't repurchase another brand is because they only came in different sizes and I didn't need all sizes.

I used one of these to attach a tarp to a motorcycle brake lever while parked. When I took it off, the hinge and handle just broke. For a long time, the jaws were not under great tension - they were only lengthened by the thickness of the tarpaulin, maybe a couple of millimeters. The plastic is not thick enough and not even suitable for this heavy spring application. You think they'll break as soon as you take them, and they do.
