Cordless Mini Car Polisher: SPTA 12V Micro RO/DA Scratches Killer for Polishing, Sanding, and Cleaning Review

Great little polisher. Has the power to get the job done at higher speed settings. The polisher's head and neck will get a little hot after a while, but not so hot that it's unbearable.

I've worked with a lot of different polishers and I have to admit this little guy packs a medium punch. Ideal for wheels and bumpers or any other hard to reach area you might need it for. The pads that come with this kit are not cheap and they hold up very well. I highly recommend adding this tool to your collection.

Cheap and easy to use but the key word is cheap. Attachments broke and damaged my car which is now being repaired. Contacted SPTA and they are aware of this issue as it has happened to others several times. But they don't put their new attachments in this kit, they have to be bought separately! So if you still want it, be careful when using it. You will spend more to repair the damage done. So I spent more and went with another brand.

The machine is fine and I was happy to see that it comes with 1" and 2" pads and skid plates. However the threads on the 2" base plate are plastic so the threads on the machine snapped making it unusable. Luckily I bought it from Revain and it was promptly replaced. Also it came with a variety of different pads. However, a description of the pads was not included, so do your best to understand which pad is used for which paste or polish.

As a professional handyman, I took the risk and bought this small polishing machine. After many, many hours of use it seems to be working fine. BUT - one of the batteries has stopped charging. This polish works surprisingly well. I've used several high end 1 inch polishers in the past so I can't give this one 5 stars as it's not one of them. But as I said for the price I am very satisfied. The washer is bent relative to the threads and cannot be used due to excessive vibration. Not entirely unexpected but disappointed as I was planning on using the polisher straight away. The store was very reasonably priced and we really liked how powerful it is for its size. We also like that the tool comes with a bunch of polishing pads and a really nice case to keep everything nice and safe in. The velcro is very sticky and sticks to the pad very well.
