Arrival Defective Toilet Aid Item Steps

When I took the box out of the Revain box it came in I heard a rumble and before I opened it I knew it was broken. Upon opening, I saw broken plastic pieces. One of the folding legs was broken and won't snap into place. An unbroken leg will be difficult to fold in the locked position. In general, I would like to buy the unfolded original version. I liked the idea that it could be folded up and out of sight, but it doesn't seem worth the hassle. Just take the original! Save yourself the return.

Not as strong as the original travel version

The original travel/carry version was better in the sense that it was really solid underfoot. This creaks and wobbles a little with use, without any unusual pressure. I'm not sure why they changed it, but it's an improvement over the previous version as it won't pinch your fingers when you try to fold it. However, the durability still needs to be worked on. I have the original travel/portable version used in the second bathroom and I bought this to use in our sailboat. It's much better in terms

I still can't design the folding model properly!

While I'm still a big fan of the original Squatty Potty, their Fold n Stow model sucks. That's its best feature, BUT when it's open, it often folds up easily, even with a slight movement of the leg. When opening, one must be very careful not to easily get fingers caught in and around the moving parts. — Thinking about buying a squatty potty? Stick to their original (non-foldable, non-portable, non-travelling). Surprisingly, they failed to improve on the compact/foldable design. [Your original…

does not latch when unfolded

For some reason the one supplied does not latch when unfolded. Most of the time it folds up by itself due to the weight. While I had no issues with this product initially, after extensive use I find it too cumbersome to bother with the folding mechanism on the toilet. The last thing you want to do while you're on the toilet is messing around with a squat potty that just doesn't seem to have a secure locking mechanism. smart, that's great. But when really needed, it's a disappointment.

Easy to use out of the box. Stable and reliable support.

I put off buying a squat potty because I have a small bathroom and didn't want the stool to take up space. The Fold N Stow version solves this problem perfectly. It folds up as described and can be placed discreetly next to my small dressing table. Other reviewers noted that they were unaware that the block must be locked before use. However, the one-page manual says this quite clearly. The locking clips are easy to attach and remove and in my experience the device has proven to be quite…

It's great for travel ONLY

It doesn't (sorry) hug the toilet like non-folding models claim. When not in use, most people kick it off their feet and sidestep. You can still use this foldable device, but it gets in the way. You can't leave it there. It will bother you every time. This worries my husband very much. It is designed to be either removed entirely or taken, folded and moved. On the other hand, it folds up very well and is very compact. It's great for travel, especially if you have a dacha or dacha. It takes up…

Safety, utilities and bathroom accessories aren't worth a dime

Don't worry. Received it, tried to unfold it to use and one of the latches broke. So I sent it back. The side that was locked was also very sketchy. If a child uses it, then maybe, MAYBE, it's strong enough. It's terrible and not worth a fraction of what they charge. Its plastic is everywhere and just really bad design. Spend the extra $$$ and buy one made out of bamboo. Definitely worth it. EDIT: I've had bamboo for a few days. This is a really good fold design. The hinges and locking…

Not as good as the original

Besides being portable and easy to carry; This is a much inferior version of the original squat pot for the following reasons: 1. Installation: You need to pull out the side support legs until you hear a click. It takes some strength/effort. If you're a kid or don't go to the gym often, you might hear the Hulk (Marvel, Avengers) grunting out of the closet trying to lock this thing. 2. Poor toilet fit. Doesn't have a curve like the original, so it can't slide naturally after use. Yes, you can…
