Do not buy! paintable

I should have listened to other reviews and not bought this, but this was the only option. As a kid I had a wavy line pen that lasted 25 years (still works!) and I wanted to give it to my son (grandmother still has one). I found this, bought it and tried 2 packs. The first one didn't work from the start. The second broke after a few days. So crazy! Very cheaply made. waste of money.

Pros
  • Provides hours of creative fun, endless "squiggle art" on most papers
Cons
  • Too long to wait

VERY CHEAPLY MADE! ONE IS BROKEN!

Of course these pens aren't as well made as they were when my kids were little! One of them has a crooked on/off button and it won't stay on! My grandson and I were very disappointed on Christmas morning! Also, after inserting the batteries, you need to be careful when screwing the two parts together as they will keep working! Very cheaply made. Too bad because it used to be a fun toy!

Pros
  • Creates writing loops with interchangeable color dots
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Made cheap. in drawing

I have a typewriter that I bought for my children 25 years ago. It still works except the pens need new ink. I decided to just buy 2 new pens with new nibs. Writers are now made cheaply and both new writers stopped working 2 days after my grandkids used them. I would ask for a refund and send it back; However, I need new ink tips for my 25 year old model that still work.

Pros
  • Hot new vivid colors
Cons
  • Available in white only

Fun toy but maybe short lived

Loved these as a kid. They are fun and I have two young children so I took 2 packs. However, only one of the two in the package worked and the other was defective. It turned on, but the motor barely vibrated and the switch seemed loose. They were stockings, so naturally a child was disappointed. Not sure how durable they are as the handle on the bottom seems to slip off easily at times. Despite this, they are still cheap and fun to write with.

Pros
  • Gives you hours of creative fun, endless squiggles on most papers
Cons
  • Damaged

Too big to hold comfortably: Hands hurt after a short time

Poorly made! Too big to hold comfortably: Hands hurt after a short time. The letter is bad only wavy. The pen we had 20 years ago was a medium sized Suze ballpoint, only had one color of ink (blue), was comfortable to use and actually made it easier to write nicely with regular handwriting, not wavy. Too much hassle and cost to return. I don't understand how this pen can be listed as helpful for children with dyslexia or other learning disabilities. The child will find this amusing, but will…

Pros
  • Original electric vibration handle
Cons
  • Little things
