SRAM Cassette PG 950 Design Sprockets Review

This is a solid cassette for the money. Not the best of the bunch but works very well and for the asking price you can buy a couple of cartridges and be totally obsessive and replace more than you need and still not spend a lot of money. I prefer SRAM and love their products.

Returned to PG-950 after using PG-970. The heavier construction means the cartridge lasts about 50% longer. Also quite happy with the life of the PG-971 chains. Never worn inside, I changed one the same year.

This is a 9 speed cassette that I used to replace the original part on my old Cannondale bike. It fits like a glove and shifts much better now. The original has lasted for many years, hopefully this one of the same make and model will last a long time too. It's easy to replace, but the process requires a few specialized tools.
