Worked on my Sram Apex Hydro R

This grease fixed the master cylinder piston that was stuck in my Sram Apex Hydro R brake lever The rebuild was easy just a little time and bleeding the brakes.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Empty

Actually, I ordered and received Avid lube. I .

I actually ordered and received Avid lube. I think it's almost the same product. I used this product when replacing rear caliper pistons and o-rings on an Avid Elixir mountain bike rear brake.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • crumpled packaging

The best (and only) in sport

The best and only DOT lube. For use where grease may come into contact with DOT fluid and is required to properly tighten the flare nut on hydraulic bicycle disc brakes. It will probably also find wide application in my cars and motorcycles.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Everything is fine

I used a swab between the metal backing of the pad and the piston.

Did my first job on a mountain bike. I used a swab between the metal backing of the pad and the piston. I will add in a few years when I change again. I'm glad SRAM offers lubes, I just don't have time to think about what to buy. I work for Timken and we offer specialty lubricants. Makes working with customers easier.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Working speed
